Madison Stewart (aka Shark Girl) was a guest at the 2015 Cicada Awards.  Her passion for shark conservation and her talent for film-making is apparent.  Recently she appeared in front of the camera in “Blue” which screened at the Brisbane International Film Festival. He was 12 years old when he made his first video and 16 years later he’s a professional.  Guillaume is from Paris and has followed his passion for filming, wildlife and the great outdoors which has brought him to Australia. Guillaume encourages youth to push past the uncertainty and make films because they are so powerful.  Take a look here

AFI-ACCTA Award Byron Kennedy Award was presented to Amiel Courtin-Wilson at the 4th AACTA Awards Ceremony in Sydney on Thursday 29 January 2015. Amiel made his first film when he was just nine years old and he was honoured for his risk taking and evocative storytelling. The jury felt that “Amiel has been patiently searching for truth and beauty at the margins of society, making films which have captured the attention of international audiences. Read more here
